The Overwhelmed
Before taking my job at the IVF clinic, I knew IVF was a rollercoaster, but I didn’t KNOW how crazy it was. This process takes a huge toll not only on you emotionally, but it also has a sneaky way of affecting your professional life, physical well-being, social/intimate relationships and many other aspects of life that I simply cannot imagine. Let me help. I can navigate the annoying nuances so you can spend more time being human.
Long-Term Patients
The patients I have seen get treatment delayed the most are patients who have been getting care for years and all of their testing is a mess. A simple example of this is when we submit to your insurance and they come back a month later and say that they are wanting us to update “expired” testing that wasn’t caught and now we’re potentially delayed months while we await a menstrual cycle to update testing and then wait in the insurance queue again. This not only wastes time, but also wastes money and potentially insurance deductibles/coverage.
The Family
One of the greatest pains I’ve witnessed and personally felt is loving someone going through something challenging and not being able to help. Watching a loved one grieve or go through a medical hardship is one of the most challenging things I have gone through. If you love someone going through IVF, you can book a consultation on their behalf and see if there is any way for me to be helpful in their journey. This is best assessed at the beginning of their journey to offer the most instances of assistance, but can be done at any time. Think of it like the most helpful gift card you could get, a small slice of peace.
The Busy
IVF is one of the most time consuming processes I’ve ever witnessed. Whether you’re wasting hours or even sometimes days playing phone tag, time is of the essence. Don’t let IVF steal time and energy. From scheduling your medication delivery to confirming appointment times, I can give you back your time.
