Hi, I’m Anna!

I grew up in North Dakota, but Maine stole my heart throughout my summers vacationing here as a child. I took the leap, and moved to Maine in 2018 to build my nursing career. Since then, I’ve worked in all kinds of hospital settings; everything from medical/surgical, ICU step-down, COVID unit, surgical oncology, high-risk antepartum, and eventually found my way into the IVF world.

During my time in the corporate IVF world, I found myself missing personal touch that I was so good at. Though challenging to connect during short phone calls with patients, I found a way and often had patients requesting to meet me when they were in the office for appointments. I was proud of the personal care I was providing, but found that I was getting really burnt out navigating corporate requirements while also trying to meet patient’s needs.

I created IVF BFF to be a space where you feel supported, heard, and cared for. My goal is to help make your IVF journey a little less overwhelming and a lot more supported, with both professional insight and genuine kindness.

When not working, you’ll usually find me at home with my husband Nate (he’s a nurse too!) and our four cats—Simon, Clementine, Pippa and Lucy. We’re a little obsessed with them and built them a cattio—an enclosed outdoor structure where the cats can safely sunbathe and bird-watch. We also love to travel, tinker with DIY home improvement projects and enjoy a relaxing float in a brook in our backyard.
